Browsing this website does not set any cookies. Signing in to the investor portal does, and those are listed below in full.
You will not have seen a banner asking you to accept cookies. That is because nothing here is used to track you and there is no advertising on this site: everything stored is either required to sign you in and keep you signed in, or a preference you set yourself, and consent is not required for either. We would rather tell you what is stored than ask you to dismiss a box.
On this website.
No cookies at all. Two things are kept in your browser's own storage, neither of which is sent to us or used to identify you.

Cookies, when you sign in to the portal.
Set only once you sign in to the investor portal. Every one is needed for it to work; there are no advertising or tracking cookies. Two of them apply only to Gallium staff.

Preferences, when you use the portal.
Kept on your own device rather than sent to us, so the portal looks the way you left it. Clearing your browser data removes them and nothing breaks.

Measurement.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views, and nothing else. It is cookieless: it stores nothing on your device and does not follow you between sites. It processes your IP address to work out roughly where a visit came from, and does not retain it in a form that identifies you. There are no third-party advertising or marketing tags on this site. The nearest-office suggestion on our contact page uses the approximate location our hosting provider works out from your connection. Nothing about you is sent to anyone else to do it.
Offline storage.
The portal installs a small service worker that keeps a copy of images, fonts and stylesheets so it loads quickly on your next visit. It deliberately never caches portal pages or any data behind them: your holdings, valuations and documents are fetched fresh every time and are never left on your device.
Managing them.
Every browser lets you view and delete cookies and stored data, and block them entirely. Blocking them on this site means you will not be able to sign in to the investor portal, since the sign-in cookie is what keeps you signed in. What we hold about you more generally is set out in our privacy notice.
